After our inaugural "prog rock" experience with The Fates, Larry Jay Davis (guitar) and Rich Kallet (drums/percussion) encouraged me to write more. It didn't take much. I thought the three of us seemed like a core group of musicians dedicated to some pretty unusual recording projects, so I came up with a name, The Aesthetic Condition, and wrote a lot of new music. During the following year we recorded the album, Deceit and Rapture, with Joyce once again helping out with harmonies and Shain Carrasco playing cello on two cuts. What a project. (We subsequently produced a second project, Angels of War.)
Tracks follow, as well as three photos from the CD booklet.
