In August 2003, I was commissioned to write and record music for the Peralta Community College's documentary, "ICON: The Photography of Gordon Parks." What started out as a potential for the use of ambient music turned into a detailed study of 1950s-style piano jazz. Directed by Hiawatha Bradley, produced by Frankie Sanders (station manager of PCTV). I've included one "cue" from the film below...
